Group Classes and Homeschool Groups

Group Classes are small groups (3-6 kids) of beginners learning the basics of music together in a fun, low pressure environment. We learn/review concepts as a group, play musical games to incorporate our new skills, separate to individual keyboard stations to work on assigned pieces with teacher guidance. The individual practice time allows each student to move at their own pace while observing and working alongside peers. When a piece is ready, we perform it for the group!

The curriculum is designed to help beginners reach all the basic milestones that allows for an easy transition into private lessons. Keyboard Geography, the musical alphabet, rhythmic terms, music symbols, left vs right hand, ear training, improvisation, recitals, introduction to practice routines, technique, and composers.
